TSAM Transmitter Steering Systems
Extend radio system talk-out range at a fraction of the cost of simulcast
The TSAM (Transmitter Steering Audio Matrix) works with Voter Receiver Systems. By monitoring the receive activity at the comparator, the TSAM is able to direct the outgoing 
transmissions to the transmitter that is geographically closest to the last voted receiver. Using the "Smart Steer" algorithm, the TSAM is unique in the field of Land Mobile Radio. The TSAM unit extends the reach of multi-transmitter systems automatically by making fullest utilization of the transmitters on the outer fringe of the area. This extends the "talk-out" range of your system at a fraction of the cost of simulcast equipment.
The TIB (TSAM Interface Module) connects a TSAM Transmitter Steering Unit to the MCN Network. It extends the status indication and controls for the Transmitter Steering Unit over the network to a remote display position. The TIB Module is compatible with:

- Motorola TAC Spectra-TAC, and Digitac Comparators
- Ericsson/G.E. Voters
